So it begins

In my first post, I told you that wanted to sell plants affordably. In order to do that I need more land. My current house is located on .19 acres. It’s a sizable yard, but for growing enough plants to sell, it’s really not big enough. Ideally, I would love to have a house on some acreage, but I do, unfortunately, have a budget. My long term goal is to be able to sell perennials, annuals, and eventually bulbs. I’d like to get to the point where I could do workshops for planting and garden tours and pick your own bouquets. But for now I will start small. With the plants, I’ll actually have to acquire stock first. Since I’ll be doing that from seed, it will take a few years before I have enough excess to sell. Meanwhile, I may start off selling cut flowers from my stock until the plants are big enough to divide and such.

Anyway, I’ve set my eyes on a house with approximately and acre of land. Of course, this means that I need to sell my current house. My current house went on the market on March 28th. It’s been quite the roller coaster. Tomorrow I’ll post a house tour. Hopefully, by the weekend I’ll have a video posted about the roller coaster part.
